Details: In December, 2005, the long-expected opening ceremony of the new surgical ward building was held just in front of the grand door of the 21-storey beautiful building. The new surgical ward building's area is about 37594 square meters, with 478 beds spreading into 14 wards, including one VIP ward. The central operation department includes 3 stories, altogether 19 operation rooms with air purifying equipments. The liver transplantation center lies on the 8th floor. All the wards are equipped with modern intellectualized devices. The opening of the new surgery building will surely improve the level of the service to all the patients, especially for transplant patients.
