treatment of recurrent hepatitis B
Recurrent hepatitis B is one of the common mid-, and long-term complications after liver transplantation.
Evolvement of hepatitis B treatment in liver transplantation
Objective factors for recurrent hepatitis B :
① Immunosuppressants;
② Existence of hepatitis B virus in blood;
③ Existence of hepatitis B in extra-hepatic tissue;
④ Blood transfusion;
Personal factors for recurrent hepatitis B:
1.fulminant hepatitis B: best result( rare recurrence);
2.chronic hepatitis B with concurrent hepatitis D: low recurrent rate.
3.Positive HBV DNA in blood and/or positive HBeAg: very high rate of recurrence.
4.hepatitis B with hepatocellular carcinoma: relatively high rate of recurrence.
Introduction of measures to prevent hepatitis B recurrence;
① HBIG: application from 1978, long-term injection, poor effect for positive HBV DNA patients;
② Medicine: anti-virus medicine (LAM, ADV, GANC, etc), IFN, etc.
③ Vaccine:
④ gene sealing
