Requirements for the issuance of Machine Readable Passport (MRP)

• Machine Readable Passport has become a mandatory requirement for foreign travelers. International Civil Aviation Organization has intimated that use of manual passports will be stopped with effect 30th September 2016.
• The applicant has to personally appear for the processing of passport.
• Original valid computerized national identity card (CNIC) or NICOP.
• Original Passport (and copies of page 1-5 & current visa/resident permit).
• Loss report from Chinese police/immigration bureau in case of lost passport.
• Minors (less than 18 years):
  • Original Computerized Form “B” (CRC) or NICOP.
  • Original Birth Certificate.
  • Valid CNIC of parents.
  • Accompanied by father and mother/legal guardian.
  • Guardianship/custodianship papers in case of separation.
