Job Description
MILSTE is looking for experienced people to join our research sales team in London, Hong Kong, and Beijing. These peoples’ main responsibility is developing sales leads and closing deals for our research, trainings and roundtables. The candidates will also organize and attend client meetings striving to challenge current thinking in order to deliver unique propositions. These candidates will be working in a fast pace environment as they communicate and cross sell with current clients and dig into new markets to build new sales leads and close them in a high pressure environment. Qualifications
- 1. Have a college degree
- 2. At least 2 years of research sales experiences in financial services or IT.
- 3. Strong understanding of client and market dynamics in the financial industry

Compensation
Compensation will be based on experience and knowledge of the industry. Candidates should be ready to accept a heavily commission/performance based compensation package based on meeting sales objectives that will be directly related to the output of the individual. The compensation package will include components of base salary, commission and potentially profit sharing and/or equity for the right individual. This is very much a start-up compensation package and applicants should be confident enough in their abilities to take a high-risk, high-reward role.

Job Description
MILSTE is seeking for three banking analysts for our growing research teams in China. These analysts will deliver sharp and strategic reports to the world's most prestigious banks and technology companies. This person will analyze a wide range of data sources and produce structured reports about wealth management, retail banking, capital markets, transactional banking, infrastructure in banks, and most importantly, will produce weekly research notes of about 400 words per week for the website. This person will also be expected to grow into a manager role within a few years to hire researchers, and build our online research publication and produce monthly structured reports and innovative and strategic intelligence that will be supplied for free online and for sale.
Qualifications
- 1. At least a bachelor’s degree in finance, business, or journalism. Outstanding graduates will be considered.
- 2. Must have at least 1 year of work experience in research.
- 3. Must possess excellent research (internet), analytical and written skills.
- 4. Must be proficient with MS Office and Excel and working on an online environment.
- 5. A strong understanding of banking and financial services industries
- 6. Must be an independent who can work under deadlines
- 7. Must exhibit excellent professionalism – highly motivated, efficient and ability to manage stress.
- 8. Being a Chartered Financial Analyst is a plus.
- 9. Fluency in any Asian language would be a major plus.
Compensation
The compensation of this position is directly correlated to the person’s experience, knowledge, and that person’s contacts within the financial services industry. Bonuses and commission will be distributed for the completion of major products.
Location: Hong Kong
This is an important position with responsibility for helping or leading the organization of vibrant conferences and small events about retail banking, risk management, capital markets, and banking technology. This person will run the event from start to finish, including aiding in the production of the agenda, to inviting the delegates, keynotes, and working with the sponsors to ensure that the event runs smoothly. This position person will have to travel 40% of the time to Europe, The United States, and Asia.

- 2. Has at least two years of experience in organizing small or large events.
- 3. Has strong organizational skills
- 4. Knowledge in banking and eagerness to learn more
- 5. Strong and clear communication skills in English
- 6. Basic knowledge of research and the ability to learn quickly
- 7. Proficiency in any Asian language, especially Chinese, is a plus
Compensation
The basic salary of this person will be based on previous success in organizing events and their experience in the industry. The compensation will be highly based on commission, in which a percentage of the total net revenue of the event will be allocated to the person.
