The pilot project will be a scalable model of a sustainable city cluster and shall also be an EU-China Sustainable Urbanisation venue.

It will consist of 666,000 sqm （1000 mu) site area which is equal to 93 football fields with 3 main functions:

• A residential community to showcase green and sustainable housing;
• A business park consisting of office and research base which allows the European SMEs as well as to establish their first offices in China and concentrate on researching the energy-saving and sustainable urbanisation;
• A light industry park which allows the European suppliers to showcase such products as well as to establish their first small scale assembly in China.
